Pathology professor Dr. Hiromichi Tsurui is noted for his expertise in immunology, systems biology and structural biology

TOKYO, JAPAN, August 18, 2016, Dr. Hiromichi Tsurui has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. Since 1989, Dr. Tsurui has been an assistant professor in the Department of Pathology of the Jutendo University School of Medicine in Tokyo, Japan. In addition to teaching, he conducts research in the area of pathology and serves as an honorary reviewer for professional journals. Dr. Tsurui has also written and contributed numerous articles to journals and chapters to books on the topics of pathology, cell biology, immunology, bioinformatics, structural biology, microscopy, systems biology, computational biology and immunohistochemistry. He is most appreciated for his expertise in immunology, systems biology and structural biology.

Dr. Tsurui, who is originally from Utsunomiya, Japan, holds an MD and a Ph.D. from the University of Tokyo. He remains current in his field through affiliations with the Japanese Society of Immunology, the International Society of Optical Engineering, the Histochemistry Society and SPIE – the International Society for Optics and Photonics. Over the course of his career, Dr. Tsurui has been noted for his work in the development of hyper-multicolor fluorescence tissue imaging, as well as in the development of an application of solid-phased DNA probe to gene engineering.

Dr. Tsurui’s hobbies outside of his professional work include photography and driving. His many achievements and endeavors were taken into consideration when he was chosen to be featured in the 1st and 2nd editions of Who’s Who in Asia, the 6th through 8th editions of Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, the 7th through 12th editions of Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, and the 23rd through 33rd editions of Who’s Who in the World.
